Article 1 – Personal information we collect

When you make a purchase on lysby.com, we collect the personal information you give us: your name, delivery address, email address and telephone number. When you browse the Site, we also automatically receive your device's IP address, which helps us understand your browser and operating system.

With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

How do you obtain my consent?

When you provide personal information to complete a transaction, verify your payment method, place an order or arrange a delivery, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary purpose, such as marketing, we will ask for your express consent.

Article 3 – Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information if we are required to do so by law or if you breach our Terms of Service. We do not sell your personal data.

Article 4 – Shopify

Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc. They provide us with the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you. Your data is stored in Shopify's data storage, databases and the general Shopify application, on secure servers protected by a firewall.

Payment: if you complete your purchase through a direct payment gateway, Shopify stores your card data. It is encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your transaction data is kept only as long as necessary to complete your purchase, then deleted. All direct payment gateways comply with PCI-DSS standards, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

In general, third-party providers we use (payment processing, delivery, marketing measurement) will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide to us. Some providers, such as payment gateways, have their own privacy policies concerning the information we must provide to them for your transactions; we recommend you read them. Certain providers may be located in, or have facilities in, a different jurisdiction than you; where data is transferred outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are applied.

Article 6 – Security

• _session_id: unique session token, allows Shopify to store information about your session.
• _shopify_visit: used to count the number of visits.
• _shopify_uniq: counts the number of visits by a single customer.
• cart: unique token, keeps the contents of your basket.
• _secure_session_id: unique session token.
• storefront_digest: used when the store has a password.

We also use marketing cookies (such as the Meta pixel) to measure the performance of our advertising. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings.
