The problem

The hairs in your brush look healthy. That's exactly the clue.

If you're on this page, you probably know this:

  • The hairs you lose aren't thin, brittle or damaged. Something has pushed them out.
  • You've tried biotin, collagen, volumising shampoo, masks and treatments. Your hair shines. And there's still less of it.
  • Your parting is getting wider, even though you do everything it says on the packaging.
  • And nobody told you that all of it works in the wrong place.

The visible hair is finished. It's no longer nourished and no longer changes. What you put on the lengths changes their shine, but not what grows back next. That's decided a centimetre deeper.

Where care actually landsLENGTHSSCALPShampoo, masks, treatments, capsulesworks on the fibredoesn't reachthe scalpOil directly onthe scalpreachesthe root
Everything in your bathroom cares for the lengths. None of it reaches the scalp.
🧴Volumising shampoo, masks, treatmentsthe lengths
They coat the fibre and make it smoother and fuller. Right for the lengths. They never see your scalp, and they're rinsed out after two minutes.
💊Biotin and collagenfrom within
Useful if you have a deficiency. But nothing reaches the scalp directly, and nothing changes about DHT, blood flow or irritation.
🔔Treating the hairthe alarm
Every product for the hair that's falling out treats the alarm. The fire keeps burning underneath: less blood flow, an irritated scalp, DHT at the root.
🌿14 oils for the soil, not the seed
Pumpkin seed against the conversion to DHT, rosemary and peppermint for blood flow, lavender and black seed for a calm, nourished scalp. Right where the next hair grows.
In short

The hair is the seed. The scalp is the soil.

The solution

14 oils that nourish the soil

The video mentions four of them. Here's what they do on the scalp, and the studies behind them:

🎃Pumpkin seed oilDHT
According to studies, it can counteract the conversion to DHT, the hormone that makes sensitive roots shrink cycle by cycle. The cause no shampoo can reach.
🌿Rosemary oilHair count
In a randomised six-month study, with a significantly increased hair count and less itching than in the comparison group.
🖤Black seed oilDensity
Improved hair density in a study and gives the root what it needs for strong hair.
💜Lavender and peppermintScalp
Lavender calms an irritated scalp, peppermint stimulates blood flow. The two things the video describes as the soil problem.

The difference

Don't repair the hair. Nourish the scalp it grows from.

It's this simple

Three times a week on the scalp, not in the lengths

  1. Apply. A few drops directly onto the scalp, along your parting and on the areas that are getting thinner. Not in the lengths.
  2. Massage in. One minute with your fingertips, which stimulates blood flow and brings the oils to the root.
  3. Leave it on. At least an hour, ideally overnight. Then wash as normal. No greasy hair, no smell during the day.

That's the whole difference to everything you've tried so far: it gets to where the next hair grows.

Objections, honestly answered

The questions you probably have right now

Why do the hairs that fall out look healthy?
Because they are. A hair that breaks off is short and frayed, that's a lengths problem. A hair that lies in your brush with the light, slightly thickened root end is complete. It hasn't broken, it has left the scalp because the root could no longer hold it. That's why the way the hairs look is the most important clue: the place where something is missing isn't the hair, it's the soil beneath it.
I've tried biotin, collagen and volumising shampoo. Why didn't any of that change anything?
Because none of it reaches the place where the next hair grows. Shampoo, masks and treatments coat the visible fibre, make it smoother and fuller, and are rinsed out after two minutes. Capsules make sense if you have a deficiency, but your scalp gets nothing from them directly. The fibre you see is finished. What grows next is decided a centimetre deeper, and that's exactly where the oil goes.
Is the seed and soil thing more than just a nice image?
The image simplifies things, but it describes three things that really happen at the root: blood flow to the scalp decreases, the scalp gets irritated, and DHT makes sensitive roots shrink cycle by cycle. A seed in dry, hardened soil comes back weaker, no matter how good the seed is. That's why the 14 oils work on the soil: peppermint for blood flow, lavender against irritation, pumpkin seed against the conversion to DHT, rosemary and black seed for hair count and density.
Will it make my hair greasy?
Not if you do it right: the oil goes on the scalp, not into the lengths. A few drops along your parting and on the thinner areas, massage in, leave on for at least an hour or overnight, then wash as normal. Your scalp gets the active ingredients, your lengths stay the same as always. Easiest is the evening before wash day.
Isn't it just genetics, which you can't do anything about?
Your genes decide how sensitively your roots react to DHT. They don't decide how much DHT reaches the root or how well the root is supplied. That's exactly where pumpkin seed, rosemary, black seed and peppermint come in. If you have fine fluff on the thinner areas, you have roots that can respond. And the earlier you start, the more you get out of it.
How long until I see something?
Hair grows in cycles. In the rosemary study, the difference was significant after six months, not six days. Many customers report firmer-feeling hair and a calmer scalp after two to four weeks; visible density comes with the cycles after that. Give it at least three months, ideally daily.
Is it for men too?
Yes. The videos show the parting and the brush because that's where thinning hair is first noticeable in women. At the root, the same thing happens in men, usually at the temples and hairline. The oil is used in exactly the same way, and the rosemary study was carried out on hormonal hair loss.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Then just get in touch at support@lysby.com and we'll sort it out with you under our satisfaction guarantee. We don't want customers who leave it in the cupboard, but ones who use it every day and reorder.
When should I give it a miss?
If your scalp is inflamed, has open areas, or if you're currently being treated by a dermatologist, talk to them first. Sudden hair loss in clumps or in circular patches should be checked by a doctor. As a cosmetic product, the oil doesn't replace treatment, it's the daily care for your scalp.
